Tendertwin

Four years ago, we received a letter from a Turkish student, living in Philadelphia. She was passionate about music since she was a kid. This girl was explaining to us that she followed every step of our journey, building her own culture through our videos. Bilge -that’s her name- later worked with us as an intern for 6 months. Even though we didn’t need an intern at the time. So she created her own, helping in communication, giving a hand on every set. She was quiet and she was learning, with her big brown eyes.

Ever since she left the office, that was our turn to follow every step of her journey, traveling around the world, meeting new people, and finally creating some music of her own. We were so proud of her when we first listened to ‘Triangles’. Her voice, her sound, and her lyrics had a surprising maturity.

Now, Tendertwin is on the other side of the camera. She’s still learning, she’s less quiet. But the emotions she’s creating on this Take Away Show showed us that this is just the beginning of her journey and we’ll be here at every step.
